Maybe this is what I should write under my bill so I can have more fun while I am having a rough day in softball!

Day 1 is complete!

I have completed the first day of the Daniels fast. I even went to a baseball game and through all the smells of wonderful Carbs I got by with some trail mix that I brought along. One day to go! then I will be back to drinking coffee, eating hot doags and living the high life!

As some of you know I will be taking the content portion of the MTTC. To be fully certified to teach PE. I have decided to do the daniels fast for the next couple of days before I get into complete study mode for this test. If any would like to pray for me the test is on July 7th at 1pm.

Colin Cowherd on Chris Benoit?!?!?!??

Hey all you bloggers out there! I just got wind of this, Colin Cowherd said some crazy things yesterday about Benoit and Eddie Guererro's deaths. I have no clue what he said but, thousands of wrestling fans called into this guys show and tried to give him the "what-fore" and now many fans have started a petition to get rid of this sports dj.

My question is out there to you, since I have to work today and don't have the time to find out what he said, I ask you to send me some quotes of this guys show yesterday or a possible link to were I can read this guys comments. I already know about the benoit situation and am already disturbed and upset about it, I just want to know what Cowherd said. THANKS all you blogger fans!!!

Chris Benoit and family found dead in home.

Benoit failed to appear both at Saturday’s live event in Beaumont, Tx., and WWE’s Vengeance: Night of Champions in Houston Sunday night, after informing WWE of a family emergency. Several curious text messages sent by Benoit early Sunday morning prompted concerned friends to alert Richard Hering, VP of Government Relations for WWE, Inc. Hering, in turn, spoke with Fayette County sheriffs Monday, and requested that they respond to the Benoit residence to check on him and his family.
Authorities representing the Sheriff’s Department initially had a difficult time entering Benoit’s new Fayetteville home Monday afternoon, which had been guarded by two large German Shepherds roaming freely around the property. Once authorities entered the residence, they quickly located the bodies of Benoit, Nancy and Daniel. WWE was notified of the discovery at approximately 4 p.m.
At 10 p.m. Monday night, Lt. Pope held a press conference in conjunction with Scott Ballard, the district attorney for Fayette County. The press conference officially ruled authorities’ findings as a double murder-suicide from within the home.

Unbelievable to say the least I am in shock and I am sure that more from this story will come out over time. Truly a sad day in the professional wrestling world.

Kitna must be shaking out some sand that is inbetween those ears of his to actually think the Lions will win 10 or more games next season.

I really don't car ewhat people say to rationalize Kitna's comments either. I think if they were to go 8-8 that would be a great accomplishment!

Ken Griffey Jr. is one of the best Homerun hitters in baseball. I would love to see this guy end up beating out Barry Bonds for the top spot in the "most homeruns" catergory. I would really like to see him do it since We haven't seen him get any bigger over the years.

Punisher and Ghost Rider

I must admit I am quite the Superhero movie buff and I like most of what I have seen so far. But these two movies are definately for the Adult comic book fan. Both of these movies are rather scary in thier own right and they both have thier share of killing throughout.

So if you are looking to see either of these movies my suggestion is extreme caution!

Remembering Kile 5 years later.

Five years ago today Major League Pitcher Darryl Kile died. A team rep found him unconscience in his hotel room. The Cardinals still hang his uniform in the dugout since he was such a member of this ballclub.

X-Men 3 is it the Last Stand?

Recently I rewatched the X-men triliogy and I would be really excited if they were to make another one. Watching the third one I was disappointed but not as much as I originally was.

The new director lost focus on the "phoenix" story other than that though a good enough fill of our appetites.

If they do make another film about our favorite X-heros or not they need to have the entire cast back including the Nightcrawler and please get someone else to play Colosuss. Lets not forget to add Gambit to the mix either.

Another thing was it me or did Gramer do a great job as Beast? The only thing he didn't do enough of for me was quote intellectual people or poets enough.

Do we need to put an * by this number?

Slamming Sammy hit his 600th homerun last night against the team he had his most for, the Cubs(545). But while Sammy has been a great hitter of the longball how come we aren't so impressed anymore? Did he use steroids? Either way can easily route for him or Ken Griffey Jr. more than Bonds.

WOW! What a win last night! We had a surge from our bats for everybody. Don D. didn't even need to hit. And can you believe this...I hit a Homerun! (in the park of course). I couldn't believe I could hit it that far! Well we did win the game and glory be to God!

On a personal note I am very pleased how the league is this year. We get excited and want to win but it doesn't feel cut throat the way it used to. So thanks to everyone and thier good attitudes towards playing the right way!

Sensational Sherri 1958-2007

Sherri passed away yesterday June 15, 2007. Sherri was one of the craziest managers while I was watching wrestling as a kid. She was 49.

Well tonight was our teams first loss but that's ok. We did make a huge comeback to bring within two runs in the bottom of the 7th. I must admit I am getting the hang of pitching.

Yesterday was a "long" game where we had to come from behind to pull it out and we did. I never knew we were up by only one run in the bottom of the 7th. And we happened to pull it out in the end!

I want to personally thank the whole team for sticking with me after the first inning! Thanks y'all!

This past week two professional baseball players talked about the lack of African-American players in Major League Baseball.

Here is what Gary Sheffield had to say:

"I called it years ago. What I called is that you're going to see more black faces, but there ain't no English going to be coming out. … [It's about] being able to tell [Latin players] what to do -- being able to control them," he told the magazine.
"Where I'm from, you can't control us. You might get a guy to do it that way for a while because he wants to benefit, but in the end, he is going to go back to being who he is. And that's a person that you're going to talk to with respect, you're going to talk to like a man.
"These are the things my race demands. So, if you're equally good as this Latin player, guess who's going to get sent home? I know a lot of players that are home now can outplay a lot of these guys."

Here is a rebuttal to what Sheffield said by Torii Hunter:

"You go over to Latin America and you could buy a guy for $5,000. That’s the same guy from Compton, who you get in first round for a million dollars out of high school.

I think that it’s a business thing, not a race thing. Because it happens to African Americans, then it becomes a racial thing. I do agree that 10 years from now you are going to see no blacks (in MLB)."

This picture was taken during the 4th quarter of the ECF game 6. After Sheed got thrown out he is scene here talking with friend(?) Terrell Owens!?!?!? This has got me wondering how long Sheed will last in Detroit. Since he is becoming more like his buddy T.O. each day.

Ok Joe D, I just worked this trade out through ESPN's trade machine. You NEED KG and the only way that you'll be able to do that is by trading Rasheed and Nazr with draft picks to Minn. for Garnett!

This will keep Billups around and

unfortunately Flip too. But the trio of prince, rip and billups will remain together. With this you might even be able to resign C-webb for cheap!

Now on to baseball!

Now lets focus on the TRUE summer classic BASEBALL! Gotta love this guys swing. I also like the Tigers since they are home team but they need to get there bullpen straighten up.

For the Tiger Purist out there....What do you think about moving Robertson to the closer position and calling up Miller to take his spot in the rotation. Then you need to have your set-up man be Ledezma for now until Zumaya gets back and trade/get rid of Jones and Mesa.

The Spurs won't watch LeBron do this!

Well now that the non-caring Pistons are out of the playoffs and will continue to watch in amazement(now from there homes). The Spurs are the new Bad Boys now and they will not watch him go to the basket like the paid-off pistons did. The Spurs will foul the crap out of him and the only guy to get suspended for it will be Horry and LeBron just like the Suns vs. Spurs series. I apologize for being a bit negetive here but if the Cavs were aloud to breeze through to the finals to boost the NBA Finals Ratings then it should have been the Suns vs. Pistons this year if they wanted to boost ratings. The more I watch the NBA the more I begin to wonder if it's scripted like the WWE. Can't wait to see what the Pistons do to reload but even if they do something tremendous I think I will be watching the college game more than the professional game, Mr. Stern.

Message to Pistons: FOUL LeBRON!!!

Hey Pistons lets win one tonight! I just have one question for them: Can you please go back to being the Bad Boys and FOUL Lebron like you did Jordan? The Pistons were known for that and now they let a guy walk right through and DUNK not once but TWICE? And a Message to Flip can you please call a Timeout to stop the Cavs momentum; Stop letting them go on mini -runs!

Wake up Tigers!!!

The Tigers another floundering Detroit team. They need to go out and beat the Indians the only competition in their own division. The Tigers need to set the tone and win out the rest of this series to let the tribe know that they are the team in the Central. This could return them to some winning ways. Now c'mon Detroit teams let's get it together!

Once the Pistons get bounced from the Eastern Conference Finals these are the three individuals that will leave. C-webb is only signed until the end of this year probably won't be back for the same price he played for this year. Billups is going to leave for more money since the Pistons will only offer him about 5-6 mill a year. FLIP....YOUR FIRED!!!
