Tobaggon Run!

This weekend gave us an upclose look at the infamous Tobaggon Run at Pokagon State Park. Just minus all of the snow!

Tigers need this guy back!

After checking in on this weekends series with Central Division rival the Indians. The Tigers really need to turn it around. Once they get this guy back they will recieve much needed confidence.

No Duck Soup for the Redwings!

Well Detroit sports teams are still in the hunt for 3 titles this summer if you include the WNBA title. But the Redwings definately made it exciting in the thirdperiod coming within a goal to tie it. But atleast the redwings are now back in the hunt after about five years of poor playoff appearances. The only problem for the Redwings now are thier aging stars in Hasek and Chelios. They need to replace these guys. I wouldn't be suprised if Ilitch tries to go get Jagr or some other star player plus a goalie like Kolzig to replace Hasek.

My "Econtent" on this blog has reached 100! Looking back I can't believe that I hav actually done 100 posts.

Real Teams Wear Pink!!!

Well the two crossroads teams came together last night to duke it out in a showdown of talent and when it was all said and done....Real Teams Wear Pink prevailed! And now we get a two week break, thanks be to God!

Pistons Win!

Pistons won last night in a close game 79-76 I would rather of seen the last 5 minutes of the game rather than watch the finale of 24!

Well atleast it's over.

Ok so the ending was interesting with him standing over a cliff and holding a gun with a psychotic look in his eyes but other than that the finally was not all that great. Everyone predicted Chloe was with child. The only real twist was when Doyle got blown-up by the fake chip. What a terrible season. I am glad that the people that are new to this have season previous seasons so they still like te show.

The bottom line: Season 6 worst season of 24.

RRRR-eturn of the Pirates this weekend!!!

I have to be honest with everyone out there who likes movies. This is the best Trilogy to come out since the original Star Wars. All of the other try-fectas have been subpar until they created something DIFFERENT, PIRATES!!! These are the ones we are supposed to not route for but this story is so compelling that we want to and the cool thing about this series is that you never know who the true good guy or bad guy really is! Thank you Disney for bringing something new & fresh for all of our viewing pleasure!

Sweeps Week Begins!

With Sweeps Weeks beginning with quite the BANG and no Tivo or DVR to record anything I will be sacrificing a few different shows to watch 24 tonight, But the good thing is Dancing with the Stars results show is tuesday and the ECF will atleast go four games if not more and for House I love you guys but I only watch your show if nothing is any good. And for American Idol lets forget one of the worst seasons in history even if they are bringing back "all-stars" from the previous seasons and BRATTney Spears to try and pull ratings after the best singer since Carrie Underwood got elimated last week. Thats all for now....

Camping is coming up SOON!!!

Well camping is one of my favorite things to do in the summer. The outdoors, the making of food outside and not being around the busy stuff going around at home! I am excited for Memorial day weekend!

Finally....Again!

Finally the Pistons have comeback to The Eastern Conference Finals!!! They took care of the Bulls last night and went to the E.C. Finals for the fifth straight season. I just hope that they can turn this trip into another championship!

Heard about the new Wolverine Movie?

Next summer is when the newest installment of Marvel movies is going to be released. I am totally pumped for the Wolverine movie. I just hope that they can tell us a real good story to go along with some great fight scenes!

Lakisha gets eliminated?

Another shocker last night as the girl from Flint, MI gets eliminated from American Idol. It's really too bad that just because of song choice she doesn't get as many votes. I think she is a much better singer than Blake is and he should have been gone a while ago. But I think that his "orginality" will catch up with him soon enough.

New Community take two!

Hey last night was awesome! Providing the kids with stations at new community is a BIG hit the volunteers love as well as the kids! I know that I will need to change them soon so the kids won't get bored of the same old thing. But it is working thus far. There are some things I will need to work on to continue to make it better but for now it is going well. Thanks Volunteers!

24 rant!

Well finally 24 has gotten interesting again. There is finally some "secrets" that are keeping us guessing, even though I predicted three things that would happen last night. I think that the last three episodes could save this season!!!

Pistons up 2-0!!!

The Pistons are looking like the team to beat this year. I don't want to boast to much for them because they have a long way to go. I don't like how well they are playing together and putting the friendship of former-piston Big Ben to the side as they continue to play extremely well!

Crossroads #3 Wins!

Real Teams Wear PINK! Win their first game of the season! It was a dousy of a game where we ended up with three injuried girls. All hurts their quad muscles. But we ended up winning the game. We had a really nice team to start off against, they were real nice and we got along with them good. This is always a nice thing to have whenever you are in any type of sports league.

The First Softball game tonight!

Tonight is our first softball game! Real Teams WEAR PINK! will be playing tonight at United Methodist. I will be pitching this season and this could get quite interesting tonight. Come out and watch! Game starts at 6:15. Bring your own food, drink, and bundle up too!

Spider-man Review! DON'T READ if NOT SEEN!!!

Ok to those who haven't seen this yet Spider-man 3 is a good movie. In my opinion it was better than 2 because I think that the stories behind the new characters in the movie were well told better.

The visual effects in this movie were a lot better than the previous movie. Really enjoyed Sandman in this movie they could have made him a little more aggressive like he was in the comics and cartoon.

Like other critics of this movie, I agree that the story line changes as quickly as spider-man swings from building to building. I didn't really like that and some of the parts in the end of the movie just happened and things just worked like they normally do in superhero movies. I would just like one of the superhero movies to end were they just give up on each other and say, " until next time" or the bad guy gets away. This would leave you wanting to see the next installment (like they did at the end of the second and third movie). But Mcguire must be tired of donning the spidey suit and performing the stunts.

To give this movie an overall grade I would give it a B-

Remember 2 things as I give this grade I grew up a Spider-man fan and I look for a great story a long with the eye-popping visual effects.

Oh yeah, one more thing Spider-man doesn't dance in the streets and act like a weirdo!

My First New Community!

My first NC went great last night! The kids I think enjoyed the activities that were there. It ran real smooth and I had just a few issues and I love all of the help and encouragement I get while I take on this job!

Looking Ahead

With a nice long rest the Pistons will start round 2 of the Playoffs this weekend when they meet the Bulls. I can just feel the history that will be shown between these two teams in the playoffs this weekend. I just hope the Pistons resemble the Bad Boys like they did before MJ became unstop-a-BULL. This matchup should be the best of the playoffs with the matchups being very similiar.

Now that the Panthers have released Keyshawn Johnson, could the Broncos go after him to bolster thier WR corp? They say that he is looking to help a team win a Super Bowl, not that the Broncos are real close but having that "across-the-middle" WR could help them and the young QB Jay Cutler get to the playoffs!
