No Duck Soup for the Redwings!
Well Detroit sports teams are still in the hunt for 3 titles this summer if you include the WNBA title. But the Redwings definately made it exciting in the thirdperiod coming within a goal to tie it. But atleast the redwings are now back in the hunt after about five years of poor playoff appearances. The only problem for the Redwings now are thier aging stars in Hasek and Chelios. They need to replace these guys. I wouldn't be suprised if Ilitch tries to go get Jagr or some other star player plus a goalie like Kolzig to replace Hasek.

If Hasek & Chelios retires I would trade back-up goalie Jimmy Howard for the Stars vetran Marty Turco and try getting Wayne Primeau from the Flames because he created problems against the Wings last year. Besides, I don't think many people would be watching the Senators and the Ducks.
Ahh but of course all of Canada is pulling for the Senators... which means you're right -- not many people will be watching
